That's not a hijab, that's a niqab. I also respectfully disagree on its use. Niqab (full face cover) comes from the Arabian Peninsula, from Bedouin traditions, not from Islam. Men also wear full body and head cover because of the heat and the sandy winds and the harsh desert conditions. But in other countries with temperate climate, and no Bedouin traditions, there is no religious reason to wear it. Furthermore, if you live in a country whose traditions don't have it, Islam says you should conform to the traditions of that country as much as possible.

An interesting experiment: If women want to cover their faces, I think all men should do so as well, and we'll live in a ghost society where no one can see anyone's face. FUN

I wonder how muslims will merge into american culture if he is living in america. and regarding temperature and climate.. you should stop talking because that is the hottest area in the world and they can wear black and still cover the whole body.
